Bulk actions
Bulk actions enable selecting a subset of business rules in the list and executing for them one or more of the following actions:
autogenerating error message / label / both,
autogenerating fallback values for variables,
regenerating simplified expression,
indicating that rule shall always execute (run rule when no values for variables are provided) or not,
including of rules in XBRL export or not,
including of rules in Particles container or not,
marking rules as deactivated or not,
appling expert mode on rules or not,
coping selected business rules (in order to paste as object in this or other framework version or as reference objects in other framework version
deleting selected business rules.
User is be able to decided if to follow the Expert mode flag (i.e. omit rules that have this flag on) or perform the actions regardless of this flag
Autoregenerate functionality enables users to automatically generate some of the key attributes of Business Rules automatically.
There are several options available in the button’s dropdown menu:
Autogenerate fallbacks - This option will set the Fallback value for all the variables in all the Business Rules where possible.
Autogenerate labels - This function is similar to the “Generate” button for Short Labels in the Edit Business Rule screen and it generates the short label for all the Business Rules.
Autogenerate error messages - This function is similar to the “Generate” button for Error Messages in the Edit Business Rule screen and it generates an Error Message for all the Business Rules.
Autogenerate error messages and labels - This button is a combined function of the previous two and it will generate both Labels and Error Messages for all the Business Rules.
Regenerate simplified expression - recreates simplified expression in the list of business rule.
Copy and Delete - copy for further pasting or delete selected business rules.

Please note that “Autoregenerate” function does NOT create new Labels or Error Messages but updates the existing ones.
Expert mode
“Expert mode” is an attribute in the Business Rules that enables user to exclude the rule from the process of automatic generation of Labels, Error Messages or setting Fallbacks automatically. User can see and edit this attribute on the Edit Rule page - once ticked ON it marks this rule to be ignored by the “Autoregenerate” function.

Tracking status of “Autoregenerate” task
Generating Labels or Error Messages, or setting Fallbacks on large amount of rules might take several minutes on large models.

Additional settings
Additonal settings make it possible to update of certain properties on selected business rules. Enabling the switch indicates that a property is to be updated while with tick/untick user decides if it shall be enabled/disabled for the selected business rules.
