20/03/2024 - Small improvements while waiting for bigger changes
There haven’t been many updates this year as we are fully focused on completing our major developments for the early 2024: the Simplified Table Builder – a first phase of easy and fast model creation functionality, and the new xBRL generation code that produces taxonomies much faster and enables further enhancements to this process and its results.
But things happen in the meantime:
We’ve introduced in the DPM modelling support for a metric to be defined as enumeration of other metrics (in addition to the supported previously ability to constrain a metric to a set of domain members). This enables covering some edge cases applied in the DPM models for example by the EBA.
We have also worked on performance improvements, especially for models that contains a high number of tables, where data is now loaded sequentially enabling browsers to consume reasonable amounts of memory at a time.
As for bug fixes, these affected mostly the outputs. Several repairs have been applied to the DPM DB export in order to revert minor unintentional differences introduced to it during refactoring of its generation code. These concern some missing values in few database tables or the pattern for constructing the data point signatures. Other minor tweaks were applied to the DITA output and Excel list with business rules for publication.
Target date for the next release is 20.03.2024
