22/09/2025 - User Experience Enhancements and Bug Fixes Released
In this release, we have focused on enhancing the user experience and addressing several bug fixes. Key improvements include a refined UI functionality that ensures the side menu remains fixed to the view pane, facilitating easier navigation for users. Additionally, we have resolved issues related to the scaling and resizing of modals, which now provide a more consistent user interface across the platform.
We have also fixed bugs concerning the display of text in logs from exports, ensuring that information is presented clearly. Furthermore, the dashboard has been enhanced by allowing links to be embedded in the text, improving usability.
Concepts that are not usable are now clearly marked in the hierarchy view, making it easier to analyze and navigate hierarchies. Business rule exports to XBRL now handle global filters and default dimensions correctly, reducing the risk of unintended rule triggers. Users without comment permissions will no longer encounter unnecessary error messages when viewing models, improving the overall experience for reviewers and data architects.
We’ve also introduced support for preconditions in business rule editing. This includes a new field in the UI and validation to ensure consistency and flexibility when defining rule logic. Additionally, we addressed issues with XBRL DPM file generation and improved the handling of releases for namespaces of dimensions, metrics, and hierarchies.
Improvements were made to the database import process, resolving an issue where importing from a model version with table references could create unnecessary table groups. We also fixed problems with detaching references for tables in table groups, ensuring more reliable table management. Lastly, the comparison view has been refined to eliminate false positives, providing more accurate and meaningful results.
These updates aim to provide a smoother, more intuitive, and reliable experience for our users. Thank you for your continued support!
