  1. Particles Web hosted by Regnology

The most convenient installation type is the one where the application is hosted by Regnology on cloud server. In this case all maintenance, including installation and updates is handled by the provider

 

  1. Self-hosted Particles Web & Particles MAUI (desktop version)

The link to download the latest version of Particles is distributed in the Release notes. It can be also requested by reaching out to the Service Desk.

User can install application by clicking on an installer, e.g. "Regnology_Particles_4.0.X.X.exe".

User can specify where Particles will be installed. Installer will create a new folder, e.g. "Particles_4.0.X.X" with Particles application inside the provided directory.

After successful installation the new folder will contain all installed files.

The folder with the previous version of the Particles, can be removed. Deleting a folder with a previous version of the application isn't necessary but recommended.
