Generate data points
Every operation in a table such as adding or deleting ordinates, adding axes, etc. requires the regeneration of data points. Click the button Generate data points to do this. You can find this button on the top of the screen in section: Tables.
A metric should be defined at least on one of the axes to successfully generate data points. This rule can be disabled in the Model design rules, if necessary.
Once the data points have been generated, you can click on any cell and view all the information about it. This includes the categorisation, the tables with that cell, and the business rules (if any).
Grey out cells
A single cell can be excluded from reporting. For this, you must set this option in the cell edition window.
Click on the cell to activate the Grey out cell option. If the cell is grey, no data can be added to it in the future.
The chosen cell will then appear as grey in the table.
Grouping
Each element in the table can be grouped - it then acts as a structural element that collects ordinates which are its children. The grouping option can be chosen if you want this ordinate and all the cells in this row or column to be greyed out and unable to enter any values.
For an ordinate to be grouped, you must check this option in the Edit ordinate window.
All chosen cells in this row will be greyed out.
