Import/Export
The supported file extensions are .xls .db and .xbrl which can be imported or exported via ATOME: Matter.
Note: both the Dictionary round-trip and the Annotated Template are currently not supported by ATOME: Matter. Also, exported .xls files cannot be imported again.
Import
It is also possible to start by importing a file to ATOME: Matter. To import a file click the 3 dots next to a model, move a cursor to Import from, and then select the format you need.
Then select the file from your computer storage and click Load.
At this point, you will see that the file import has started and the task is IN PROGRESS. Click Navigate to tasks list to see the list, status, and history of all tasks.
While the task is in progress, you can close this window and the task will continue in the background. Once the task is completed, you will see the updated status: FINISHED.
After this, the model version was imported and ready to work with.
Export
To export, a model click the 3 dots next to a Model version, move your cursor to the Export, select the type of export, and then the type of the file to be exported.
The export process is similar to the import process.
It is possible to add database file of your previous export of this model (e.g. previous version) in the export process: this will make Matter analyse the datapoints in the previous export file and rebuild index of the output DB to apply the same indexes as they were in the previous version to maintain consistent IDs of shared concepts across exports.
When the task is completed you can download the prepared file. If you close the task window you can always go to the section: Tasks in ATOME: Matter and download from there as well.
Single table export
It is possible to export a single table to Excel (.xls format) as Dictionary and Annotated Template. Open the Table options in the section: Table - Build in ATOME: Matter and click the Export to Excel button.
You can also do a single table export by clicking the 3 dots next to Table and choosing Export - Dictionary and Annotated template.
