Model design rules

Model design rules are restrictions that prevent users from creating model concepts in a way that does not comply with a specific methodology. Open them by clicking the 3 dots next to the Model and selecting the Model design rules.

Three model design rule profiles are available - DATA POINT MODEL (DPM), IFRS and CUSTOM. Almost all design rules are enabled by default. Each rule applies to the entire model including all model versions. To make any changes to the model design rules choose the CUSTOM profile first and then you will be able to enable/disable rules.

Note: If you enable/disable a rule and then try to create a concept that conflicts with it, you will receive an error notification.
